Saving Money in Fire Damage

This kitchen fire in Butler, GA left the walls, ceilings, cabinets, and all the items covered in soot. As you can see some areas in the before picture are covered in black and those are the areas which have the biggest soot and residue build up on them but even the areas that are not blackened are still covered in soot. In this situation it was believed that everything in the kitchen would need to be torn out and replaced! Something which the home owner did not want or have time to deal with but once our crews got there and got a chance to test clean we assured the homeowner that everything could be cleaned and saved. As you can see in the after picture all the soot was removed without staining, nothing needed to be torn out and replaced which saved the homeowner a lot of time, hassle and money.
